Virtues of Jumaah day

The Reward and Dignity of Jummah is same as Eid-ul-Fitr and eid-ul-Azhar. on the day some great and big event happened on islamic history. Jummah is called the weekly Eid day.

Acts and special virtues of Friday

Nabiji sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Send blessings on me more and more on Friday, because your blessings are presented to me." And when Darud is recited, Almighty Allah sends down 10 blessings to the servant. On this day, 80 years of sins are forgiven if Darud is recited in the afternoon. Friday has special virtues and practices. What are the deeds and special virtues of this day?

 Friday is the day of acceptance of prayers

The most significant aspect of the virtues of Friday is that there is a time on this day when supplications can be expected to be accepted. There are several narrations in the hadith:

Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "Look for the moment (of the prayer being answered) on the day of Jumu'ah, from after Asr to sunset." (Tirmidhi, Muslim, Mishkat, Taliqur Ragib)

Haazrat Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, There is a time on the day of Jumu'ah when a believer asks Allah for something good, Allah will surely grant it to him. (Muslim, Musnad Ahmd)

When is the most precious time to accept prayers on Friday?

There are 45 opinions about when the Friday prayers are accepted. But the most popular view is that after Asr prayer until Maghrib. If you pray during this time, it will be accepted. Which is mentioned in the hadith narrated by Hazrat Anas Radiyallahu Anhu. And that time is from after Asr to before sunset. (Musnad Ibn Abi Shaiba, Tirmidhi)

Friday is the day to receive blessings

1. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, send more blessings on me on Friday. On this day, during the recitation of Darud, the angel appeared and this Darud was presented to me.' (Ibn Majah)

2. Hazrat Aaws Ibn Aaws Radiyallahu Anhu narrates, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, Juma's day is better than all your days. Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salam was created on this day. He died on this day. And on this day the trumpet will be blown to destroy the world and on this day it will be blown a second time to revive it. On this day you recite more blessings on me. Your blessings will surely be presented to me. Companions asked, O Messenger of God! (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) How will our blessings be presented to you when you will become dust? Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied, "Allah has made the body of the Prophet haram for the earth." (Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, Baihaqi)

3. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Recite many blessings for him on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday) and the night of Jumu'ah (Thursday night). Whoever recites Darud on me once, may Allah send down 10 blessings on him.' (Sahih Jame') So recite more Darud on Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on Friday -


‎اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّد


Pronunciation: 'Allahumma Salli wa Sallim Ala Nabiyina Muhammad.'

Meaning: 'O Allah! May you grant mercy and peace to our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.'

4. Hazrat Abu Umama Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Recite more blessings on me on Friday." Because the blessings of my Ummah reach me on Friday. The person who sends the most blessings on me will be the closest to me on the Day of Resurrection.' (Targhib)

5. Hazrat Anas Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, 'Recite more Durood on Friday. Because Jibreel Alaihis Salam has just appeared with the message of Allah Ta'ala. Allah says:

"When a Muslim in the world recites Darood on you once, I send down mercy on him ten times and all My angels intercede for him ten times." (Targhib)

6. Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said, ``Reciting blessings on me will be light when the Pulsirat passes. A person who recites Darud 80 times on Friday will have 80 years of sins forgiven.

7. In another tradition, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever recites this Darood Sharif 80 times before rising from his place after Asr prayer on Friday –


اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَسَلِّم تَسْلِيْمَا

Pronunciation: 'Allahumma Salli a'la Muhammadinin Nabiyil Ummiyy wa a'la Alihi wa Sallimu Taslima.'

His sins of 80 years will be forgiven and the reward of 80 years of worship will be written in his record. Subhanallah! (Afzaloos Salawat)

8. Hazrat Ali Radiyallahu Anhu narrates, 'A person who recites 100 times Durood on Nabi Karim Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on Friday, will rise on the Day of Resurrection in such a state that people will see the light of light on his face and ask him what he did!' Kanjul Ummal)
